Decker Energy has interests in two biomass power plants, Craven County Wood Energy and Grayling Generating Station. The Craven County Wood Energy facility is described in a separate profile.

Decker Energy is also actively developing approximately 200 MW of new biomass power projects in Plainfield, CT, Fitzgerald, GA, Hertford County, NC, and Lindale, TX.

Grayling Generating Station

The 37.2 MW plant burns about 400,000 tons of wood per year obtained within a 50-mile radius. The plant has been operating since 1992.

The plant is owned by Grayling Station Limited Partnership, a partnership of Decker Energy, CMS Energy, and Fortistar.
